A Historic Night in the Champions League

On March 8, 2017, the world witnessed one of the greatest comebacks in UEFA Champions League history as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Barcelona 6-1 at the Camp Nou in the second leg of their round of 16 tie.
Barcelona, led by their star-studded attack of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar, had won the first leg 4-0 at the Parc des Princes. PSG, on the other hand, had been written off by many as they looked to overturn a seemingly insurmountable deficit.
But on a magical night in Barcelona, PSG produced a stunning performance to stun the football world. Edinson Cavani scored twice in the first half to give the visitors hope, and Angel Di Maria added another just before the break to make it 3-0 on aggregate. Barcelona pulled one back through Suarez in the second half, but PSG refused to give up and scored three more goals through Julian Draxler, Layvin Kurzawa, and Cavani again to complete the historic comeback.
The victory sent PSG through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they would eventually lose to Real Madrid. However, the night at the Camp Nou will forever be remembered as one of the greatest in the club's history.
